What do you do when there are multiple charges against you, including aggravated assault? If you're 29-year-old James A Sherlin, you add more charges by shooting the deputy who's coming to serve warrants.

ABC 9 News reports that other warrants against Sherlin included possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Well, apparently, another firearm was in his possession when deputies arrived at a home in Catoosa County, Georgia. They were told Sherlin was in the shower. When he opened the door and saw the deputies, it is said that he immediately closed it and deputies forced the door open.

Here's where the story gets really weird. Sherlin supposedly went back into the shower to get a handgun.

Did you read what was written?

THE MAN WENT INTO THE SHOWER TO RETRIEVE A HANDGUN!!!

WHO has a gun in the shower? Apparently, 29-year-old James Sherlin!
Well, in the scuffle over the weapon, it fired, and a bullet hit Deputy Keith Cantrell on his finger and then hit Sherlin's arm! Sounds like a scene from a movie, doesn't it? Check out the full story.

Let me tell you something: If I know my family member is crazy enough to have to carry a handgun with him into the shower, there wouldn't have been anyone to answer the door when the deputies arrived. There's no way I would be in the house with that kind of a loon. And you can call it what you want, but if a person is THAT violence-minded, you KNOW before such an incident occurs.
