The National Weather Service reminds us "Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.  Most flood deaths occur in vehicles."

Flash Flood Warning now until 6:15 pm for west-central Alabama counties of Tuscaloosa, Pickens, Greene, and Northwestern Sumter from the National Weather Service. Observations show that 2 to 3 inches of rain has occurred over the last six hours due to rain and thunderstorms.  And it is anticipated that more heavy rain will move into our area.
