I am so impressed with all the different parks and green spaces that Tuscaloosa has to offer. I don’t know about you, but I love taking a nice walk at Snow Hinton Park. Also, that massive jungle gym looks pretty interesting too. Another facet that impresses me about Tuscaloosa is the City Government and their interest in our City. I was excited to see that the City of Tuscaloosa – Government is hosting a “Snow Hinton Park Community Workshop” on Thursday, March 12, 2020, from 5 pm to 7:30 pm at Northington Elementary School located at 1300 21st St. E, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404. I think it is a great idea to get input from the community and their needs. And who doesn’t love updates. Here are the details from the Facebook Event page, “The City of Tuscaloosa is hosting a community workshop to seek public ideas for improving Snow Hinton Park. The City has contracted with Barge Design Solutions to gather ideas and design updates to the park. Architects from Barge will present concepts for the park during this meeting, and ask for feedback and ideas from the public.”
