Tuscaloosa Teen Shot In Chest In Serious Condition

A Tuscaloosa teen was shot in the chest Wednesday morning and is in serious condition. According to AL.com.,around midnight, homicide investigators responded to reports of a shooting, where they were told the 17-year-old male victim had been transported to DCH with a gunshot wound.

He was taken to surgery, and is now listed in serious condition. Investigators said 21-year-old Demarcus Goodwin is in the Tuscaloosa County Jail on charges of attempted murder.

Investigators found Goodwin about a block away, but said the motive for the shooting is currently unknown.
