Friends of the Tuscaloosa Library Hosts Stock Your Classroom Event
Parents, kids, and even teachers are getting prepared for back-to-school season. The Friends of the Library Bookstore (FOL) is hosting an event to help teachers to stock their classrooms in preparation for the coming school year.
The "Teachers, Stock Your Classroom Event" from now through August 5. According to the press release, “The Friends of the Library Bookstore has a great selection of board books, children's picture books, chapter books, and young adult books.”
The FOL Bookstore is located at the back left of the Tuscaloosa Main Library located The FOL Bookstore has "both fiction and nonfiction children's books and as always, they are priced at only 50 cents each."
The bookstore is closed on Sunday and Monday. They are open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Friday they are open from Noon to 3 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Kay Kirkley, Friends of the Library Bookstore Manager said that they are “excited to currently have a great selection of children's and young adult books at the Friends of the Tuscaloosa Library Bookstore. Teachers are invited to come down and stock their classroom libraries. As always, children's and young adult books are only 50 cents."
