Today's Southern Soul Song of the Day has its roots right here in Alabama.

Steve Perry is very well known in these parts and has been active in the Southern Soul arena for over a decade.  His most popular work is probably "Booty Roll."

His latest work is "Work it Baby."

It has a nice little 2-step party groove to it.
